Here we go again

We have had a wonderful visit with my daughter and her family for the last three days. I know I was just here a about two weeks ago, but I am glad to see that she is doing much better on her foot. It looks much better now. She even took a piece of foam, cut out the place where her wound is, and put that in her sandal. (This was a suggestion from my friend at home!)

Today, we will be heading out again. Things are fine here. Brad helped Pete with some projects around the house, the stairs, the retaining wall in the back for the rocks. And we went to the Carousel (the famous ice cream place) twice while we were here.

Chris and I went shopping with the kids on Sunday. Oh, how I forgot how long it takes to shop with munchkins. They can be great helpers! Then sometimes they play and of course it takes twice as long.

Murtle didn't go on many adventures while we were here, she did play on the "boat" with the kids, and went over a waterfall. She went for a ride on the "pony" with the kids. Now she is ready to hop back on her perch in the truck for another adventure.

We are headed for Clarksville West Virginia. Should be there late afternoon. I called for a place to stay, another smaller campground. Asked if I needed reservations and they said no, not at this time, but they have plenty of space. So I guess we will we OK.
