My journey officially begins tomorrow. One last thing I must do today!
I am excited. I can't wait. We take our test camp this weekend in the rain. But camping in the rain is better than no camping at all. Thank goodness we don't have a tent.
We still need to pack the camper and get it back together. Decided to get four new tires for it before we head west. We don't want to spend our time waiting around at garages or Camper World. Way to many other things to see.
The first trek will be to go see those grandbabies. We will take a week or so and visit with them and take a few days to explore the D.C. area. Haven't decided what to see on the way down.
We will set our navigation device for: avoid tolls, scenic route, and see where it leads us. Maybe the Gettysburg area would be a nice place to spend some time. We went to Hershey a few years ago, but chocolate is always nice.

Cleaning the camper
The process has started. I took down all the curtains and washed them. Didn't know it would require a screwdriver...
Would like to wash the windows and wipe down the walls, etc. before stocking it for the test drive on Friday. The camper went back to the factory last winter for a recall and I would feel much better after washing the whole thing.
Have talked with a lot of people about where to go on this trip. Everyone has something different. I believe that we will have fun no matter where we end up. Who knows, maybe we will only make it to Ohio!
This weekend we head for Crazy Horse Campground in Littleton, NH. This will be our dry run. Let's see what we forget. The can opener, the popcorn, hopefully not the dishsoap.
Til next time...

Getting things started!
We are getting excited about our journey! I wanted a place to share information, so let's go technical for all to see.
The plan is to dip our tootsies in the Pacific Ocean and see all that we can see between here and there. We have approximately 65 days to work with, with numerous places to visit in between.
BUT...if we don't make it, we don't make it. It might be nice to put down stakes in one place for an extended time, who knows. Isn't that what journeys are for??
List of things to do: (in no particular order)
